People once had pride in their children's school and had a vested interested in their well being. We have a unique opportunity in Niagara Falls to turn the halls of this once bustling school into a community hub celebrating the arts and culture of this great region. While its use as the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center is very encouraging, I feel that the overall programming and perception of this building can be the catalyst that helps fill the various vacant storefronts lining Pine Avenue and help develop a prosperous commercial corridor representative of a city home to one of the great natural wonders of the world.
