Main Street
(Known As Old Falls Street & East Falls Street Today)

Picture
Main Street during the late 19th and early 20th centuries was a bustling thoroughfare. It was occupied by an endless silhouette of small business that brought such an unparalleled livelihood to the district. Main Street was the  place to go where you could do everything you need to do all in a short distance along the stretch. People met for shopping outings while others mingled and conversed about the latest trending issues. Today Main Street is a shell of its former self and does not hold the same livelihood it once did. In recent years, strategic investments have injected hope into the thoroughfare and it finally looks to be on the rise thanks to the unrelenting efforts of a passionate group of Niagarians.
